Kroos booed in Arabia finds it amusing, says Real Madrid

Toni Kroos, Real Madrid’s central midfielder, has responded to jeers from the audience during the Supercopa de España semi-final against Atletico Madrid in Saudi Arabia. Prior to this, the German international was widely criticised for his remark following the transfer of Gabri Veiga from Celta Vigo to Al Ahli, which he referred to as ’embarrassing’.

Using social media as an outlet, Kroos addressed his critics with a dose of satire, a move that further stirred the Arabic audience.

On his social media account, Kroos hit back, saying, “It was fun, incredible audience”. The midfielder appeared to enjoy the banter, despite the hostility.
