Milan’s Kjaer remains out: won’t play against Atalanta

AC Milan faces continued problems in defence as it appears that Danish defender Simon Kjaer has not made a sufficient recovery in time for the upcoming clash against Atalanta.

Sky Sports confirmed the news, revealing Kjaer will not be part of the squad travelling to Bergamo to challenge Atalanta. They reported that the defender even left the sports centre of Milanello while training was still in progress, alluding to his health issues.

The Italian club is yet to officially confirm Kjaer’s absence and it remains unclear at this stage when the Danish international might be fit to return.
