Ferlaino recalls Juliano: Attracted by his love for Napoli, Maradona was his masterpiece

In an interview with ‘Il Mattino’, former Napoli president, Corrado Ferlaino, paid tribute to Antonio Juliano.

He reveals, “Juliano was of great help to me. I don’t say that we became friends, but almost. I was attracted by his love for Napoli. The arrival of Maradona was without a doubt our masterpiece. Diego arrived thanks to both of us.”

Ferlaino implies that although their relationship didn’t quite bloom into friendship, it was marked with mutual respect, specifically highlighting Juliano’s deep love for the Napoli football club. The former Napoli president also credited himself and Juliano for the arrival of football legend, Diego Maradona.
