The Italian Football Referee Association (AIA) recently announced the referee roster for Matchday 17 of the Serie A season.
The match between Empoli and Lazio scheduled for Friday, 22nd December at 18:30, will be officiated by Marchetti. Bresmes and Valeriani will serve as assistant referees, whereas Ferrieri Caputi will be the fourth official. Nasca and Mazzoleni have been assigned as VAR and AVAR officials, respectively.
The Sassuolo versus Genoa match, also to be played on Friday, will be conducted by Guida, assisted by Rossi L. and Fontani. Monaldi has been named IV, while the VAR will be controlled by Valeri, and Marini appointed as AVAR.
Friday’s late fixtures include Monza against Fiorentina, with Sacchi leading as the referee. His assistants will be Prenna and Trasciatti, with Giua named IV. Gariglio and Irrati have been declared VAR and AVAR officials, respectively.
Salernitana will face off against Milan, with Doveri in charge. Assisting him will be Rocca and Moro. Camplone, Di Paolo, and Meraviglia will oversee responsibilities as IV, VAR, and AVAR.
The Frosinone versus Juventus match will be handled by Mariani. Del Giovane and Di Monte will serve as assistant referees, Minelli as IV, Marini as VAR, and Pagnotta will be AVAR.
Bologna-Atalanta and Torino-Udinese matches will be officiated by Rapuano and Fabbri, each with their respective teams of assistant referees, IV, VAR, and AVAR officials.
Orsato will take control of the H. Verona-Cagliari match, with Marcenaro assigned to the Inter-Lecce match.
The Roma-Napoli encounter will be supervised by Colombo, with Di Iorio and Tolfo taking on assisting roles. La Penna, Irrati, and Giua are appointed as IV, VAR, and AVAR for the high-stakes game.
