Serie A, Matchday 18 appointments: The selections for Juve-Roma showdown

The Italian Referees Association (AIA) has announced the referee designations for the 18th round of the Serie A Championship.

In the forthcoming matches, the Fiorentina vs Torino game, which is scheduled for 6.30 pm on the 29th of December, will be supervised by referee La Penna. Officials Peretti and Tolfo were selected as assistant referees while Prontera, Nasca, and Marini are appointed as the IV, VAR, and AVAR, respectively.

Following this, at 6.30 pm on the same day, the Napoli vs Monza match will be controlled by referee Di Bello. Zingarelli and Barone are picked as the assistants, while the roles of IV, VAR, and AVAR will be performed by Rutella, Valeri, and Longo S., respectively.

For the 8.45 pm match on December 29 between Genoa and Inter, Doveri will be the referee. The assistant referees are Bercigli and Perrotti, with Piccinini, Irrati, and Miele providing support as the IV, VAR, and AVAR.

Then for the Lazio vs Frosinone match at 8.45 pm, Feliciani is the match referee. Lo Cicero and Trinchieri are the assistants, and Fabbri, Serra, and Di Paolo have been appointed as the IV, VAR, and AVAR, respectively.

In the upcoming match between Atalanta and Lecce, scheduled for 12.30 pm, Manganiello will be the officiating referee, with Cecconi and Valeriani as assistants. The roles of IV, VAR, and AVAR will be held by Perenzoni, Abbattista, and Chiffi.

Maresca will referee the 3.00 pm match between Cagliari and Empoli, with Carbone and Giallatini serving as the assistants. Fourneau, Paterna, and Gariglio will be the IV, VAR, and AVAR for this match.

For the 3.00 pm match between Udinese and Bologna, Orsato is assigned as the referee. Baccini and Politi will assist, and Camplone, Di Paolo, and Maggioni will operate as the IV, VAR, and AVAR.

Marinelli will officiate the 6.00 pm match between Milan and Sassuolo, with assistants Rossi M. and Ricci. Zufferli, Meraviglia, and Valeri will handle the duties of the IV, VAR, and AVAR.

Meanwhile, Mariani will be the referee in the 6.00 pm match between Hellas Verona and Salernitana, with assistants Colarossi and Di Monte. Santoro, Marini, and Pagnotta will serve in the roles of IV, VAR, and AVAR.

Finally, for the 8.45 pm match between Juventus and Roma, Sozza is the designated referee. Bindoni and Tegoni have been chosen to assist, while Marchetti, Mazzoleni, and Di Vuolo will handle the roles of IV, VAR, and AVAR.
