Milan Set Price for Goalkeeper Maignan

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, AC Milan are in discussions with the agents of Mike Maignan over a possible contract extension with an improvement on his current salary.

However, the Rossoneri club is finding the contract renewal of the former Lille goalkeeper challenging due to his high demands. The club is attempting to secure Maignan’s services, staunchly refusing offers under the 80 million euro mark.

Bayern Munich is reportedly keeping a keen eye on the situation, possibly looking to swoop in come the summer transfer window. However, they will have to meet Milan’s hefty valuation to secure the services of the French shot-stopper.

“The Milan club will try to secure the former Lille player, but it won’t be easy, the demands are high. AC Milan has no intention of considering offers less than 80 million euros.” reaffirms the report on Calciomercato.com.
