Napoli faces issues with Ostigard: the conditions

Napoli defender, Leo Ostigard, sidelined as the team prepares for its first match of 2024 after their latest training session.

Napoli released a report on their current training, confirming the temporary hiatus for Leo Ostigard.

In the announced statement from the club, it says, “Napoli trained this afternoon at the SSCN Konami Training Centre. The Blues are preparing for the first match of 2024, the Torino-Napoli, scheduled tomorrow at 3 pm for Serie A’s 19th match day. The team worked on field 2 and began the session with warm-ups and a game of ‘keepings-off’. The group further engaged in speed drills and ended with a small-sided game. Gaetano, Juan Jesus, and Zanoli worked in a group. Ostigard did not train as he is suffering from gastroenteritis.”

So, Ostigard’s absence from training was due to a case of gastroenteritis.
