Empoli FC appears to be on the verge of bringing Mbaye Niang, the Adana Demirspor striker and former Milan, Genoa, and Torino player back to Italy.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sport, Empoli have closed in considerably on Mbaye Niang. The Tuscan-based club has already reached an agreement with the former Milan forward. They now strive to come to terms with Adana Demirspor, the club currently holding Niang’s contract.
The signs are, however, encouraging. Niang is thought to be eager to make a return to Serie A, and his current club appears predisposed to let him go.
