Torino Football Club’s manager, Ivan Juric, has given a press conference ahead of their match against Genoa, managed by Gilardino.
In his address, Juric spoke passionately about the excitement surrounding the upcoming match with Genoa. “We have drawn close to that group, we need to live it with enthusiasm and not with pressure: we must always aim to perform at our best and become more competitive. We aim for a fantastic performance, gathering points wherever possible. This match will be tough and difficult, but we seek consistency in performance and results in order to stay where we are,” related Juric at the press conference.
He portrayed the game as a thrilling battle, particularly highlighting the enthusiasm of the 28,000 strong Genoa supporters. Juric recognised the quality of the opposing team, which comprises both young and experienced players, and acknowledged that they represent a formidable challenge.
Addressing rumours of Radonjic’s future away from Torino, Juric dismissed these speculations. He confirmed that Radonjic had been training well and would be integrated into play whenever he was judged to be fit. “He trained very well. He’ll be there, when I see him well I’ll use him. Last week he had a problem, now he’s available. All normal,” he concluded.
