Fiorentina is considering a player exchange as a strategic move to convince Monza to proceed with negotiations for Pablo Marì.
The club has identified Pablo Marì from Monza as a key target to bolster their defence during the January transfer window.
This choice is reportedly favoured by Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano, who is well-acquainted with Marì’s capabilities.
According to Sky Sport, discussions within the Fiorentina board are actively underway as they explore the possibility of offering a player in exchange to facilitate the transfer.
Marì, with his proven track record, is seen as an ideal addition to strengthen the squad’s defensive line, aligning with the team’s objectives for the upcoming season.
“Our intention is to enhance our defensive options, and Marì fits the bill perfectly,” a source close to Fiorentina told Sky Sport.
The club hopes that by presenting a suitable counterpart, Monza will be more inclined to release the promising defender.
