Genoa are reportedly planning to secure a permanent deal for Tottenham’s Djed Spence, who has captivated the Serie A side in just three games. This information was reported by popular Italian newspaper ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’.
Arriving as part of the Dragusin deal with Tottenham, Djed Spence has managed to impress Genoa and their manager, Gilardino, in a remarkably short time. Known as “Jet” in England, Spence had long been in the radar of sporting director Ottolini. Moreover, Spence’s flexibility on both flanks has been highly appreciated by the manager of the Griffins.
The club’s ambitious target now is to buy Spence from Spurs during the summer transfer. The Genoese side has high hopes for building a competitive team that can rank on the higher side of the table. Meanwhile, Spence is preparing himself for matches against Napoli, Inter Milan and Juventus, and aims to outshine his sister Karla Simone in fame.
