Sassuolo striker, Andrea Pinamonti, has opened up about his future goals and reflections on the Serie A title race in a recent interview with Sportmediaset.
Recalling his journey, Pinamonti said, “I left my house when I was fourteen and found an environment where I could grow both as a person and as a footballer.” He went on to describe his experiences of playing a small part of a game in the Champions League and expressed his desire to play consistently and take on a starring role in future games.
Pinamonti compared Sassuolo’s environment to that of Empoli, highlighting that despite being a small place, he was struck by the warmth and affection of the crowd that, although not large in number, shows great passion.
Sharing his thoughts on the ongoing title race in Serie A, Pinamonti avoided making any predictions, commenting that “it’s a very beautiful championship, competitive both at the top and bottom of the table. I won’t be drawn because there’s still a long way to go before the conclusion.” He maintained a neutral stance, highlighting the highs and lows of the competition while not committing to any explicit opinion.
