Sassuolo’s Defrel on the Verge of Transfer, A Possible MLS Scenario Surfaces

Departing from the Black and Greens has not been easy, especially given the current stalemate over Defrel’s future. Since the inception of the winter transfer window, there has been interest from English clubs, and inquiries have been made by Empoli, Cagliari and Udinese.

As the transfer window inches towards its closure at 8 pm on 1st February, the situation seems to be turning into a last-minute scramble. The latest whispers hint towards interests from Turkey and should an offer arrive from the Major League Soccer (MLS), Defrel is reportedly open to considering it, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
