Roma interested in Bonucci, but other names also in the frame for defence

Roma FC, in search of a defensive reinforcement this January, is considering Leonardo Bonucci, reports Il Corriere dello Spor. However, the former Juventus player is not the only name on the list.

Bonucci has recently been linked with Roma FC, following difficulties adapting to his current club, Union Berlin. The injury of Chris Smalling and the absence of Evan Ndicka due to the Africa Cup leaves the team in need of a defender.

Given Bonucci’s situation, the transfer could be a feasible and cost-effective option for Roma.

However, Bonucci isn’t the only name, Roma FC is also considering options including former Bologna player, Theate, and Monza’s defender, Pablo Mari.
