According to today’s edition of the *Gazzetta dello Sport*, AC Milan appears ready to secure the future of their midfielder, Tijjani Reijnders. His current contract is set to expire in June 2028, and just yesterday, he made an impact against Empoli with a decisive brace that influenced the outcome.
The former AZ Alkmaar player has expressed a clear intention to remain at Milanello, despite persistent interest from abroad. The midfielder is prepared to extend his contract until 2030, with his salary rising from the current €1.7 million to €3 million, inclusive of bonuses.
“There is optimism between the two parties,” reported the *Gazzetta dello Sport*. “Is an agreement close?” The negotiations seem promising as both sides aim to finalise the deal soon.
