“La Rivoluzione di Gennaio”: with this headline, *La Gazzetta dello Sport* reveals how the Milan transfer market is expected to be ablaze as early as the upcoming winter window, which is just two and a half months away.
The first name on the list is Morten Frendrup from Genoa. The Danish midfielder has been playing in Liguria since January 2022, having been acquired for less than €4 million from Brondby. It’s a potential windfall for the Grifone, although they have secured him until 2028.
Speaking of Denmark, Patrick Dorgu features on the wish list as a potential deputy for Theo Hernandez, a position currently held by Terracciano who has yet to convince.
Another highly favoured candidate by the Milanese club is Domenico Berardi. The Sassuolo star and legend was sidelined for several months but made a triumphant return on 5 October against Cittadella with a 6-1 win, complete with an assist.
The sports daily explains that the arrival of Berardi would allow Fonseca to reshuffle the attack, with Domenico playing on the right, Leao on the opposite side, Pulisic centrally as the playmaker, and Morata upfront.
If Berardi’s move does not materialise, the natural market alternative is Skov Olsen, a former Bologna player currently with Brugge. Milan also maintains an interest in Noa Lang, the PSV Dutchman who has been targeted by the club in several previous windows. In midfield, Sarr from Crystal Palace is gaining traction.
