Journalist Giancarlo Padovan has given his take on the recent performances of Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan on Radio Sportiva.
He robustly highlighted that despite Inter Milan’s series of victories, the team does seem to benefit from lenient refereeing. Padovan was quoted as saying, “Inter have always won, they have lost one game and drawn two. I have never heard criticisms about Inter. I have not even seen them in my dreams. If anything, every game I observe Inter has some referee assistance.”
Padovan, in his conversation with Radio Sportiva, further expressed his displeasure with a certain goal against Genoa. “The goal against Genoa was clearly irregular for me. No one has written help, Inter is leading, they have lost once.”
He also opened up about Inter’s performance that failed to impress him. “Yesterday [Inter] disappointed because there’s no chance Juventus will win the Scudetto,” he concluded. This sheds light on Padovan’s skepticism about Inter’s consistency and their ability to maintain their position at the top of the table, excluding any external aid.
