In a bid to find a replacement for Di Gregorio, who has joined Juventus, Monza are actively seeking a new goalkeeper.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club considers the pursuit of Wojciech Szczesny to be highly complex.
As a result, Monza has identified Pierluigi Gollini of Atalanta as a viable Plan B.
“Szczesny is a challenging target due to various complications,” an insider at Monza revealed to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
They added, “Gollini is a more attainable option, and negotiations could advance soon.”
This strategic move comes as Monza aims to secure a reliable custodian for the upcoming season.
