Milan, Pioli: Since I arrived, there’s always been suspicion

Milan’s head coach Stefano Pioli has expressed his thoughts on the team’s performance following their win against Monza.

Speaking to Sky after the match, Pioli addressed the criticism Milan has faced off the field.

The coach was quoted as saying, “Since I have been at Milan, we have always been viewed with suspicion from the outside”.

Pioli dismisses this negativity, stating it does not find its way into Milanello, Milan’s training ground.

Further amplifying on the team’s position, he says, “We are Milan, there are great expectations, it is normal to expect a lot from us.”

Pioli acknowledged that there often exists excessive negativity, but emphasised the importance of the players continuing to work with confidence. The source of these quotes is Sky.
