Frosinone player Luca Mazzitelli has spoken out following a disappointing defeat to Monza.
Having recently returned from a severe injury, Mazzitelli spoke to Frosinone’s official channels about the loss.
The Italian midfielder stressed the importance of unity among the team and fans as the season comes to an end. He acknowledged the difficulty of the task that lies ahead but emphasised the role of the fans.
Mazzitelli is quoted as saying: “Despite the defeat, it’s necessary to remain united until the end of the season to manage this feat of survival. We know it’s extremely hard, but the bond with the fans must always stay strong. At home, we’ve created a sizable treasure, where we repay their affection with results.”
The plea for unity comes as Frosinone strive to secure their position in the league, facing a challenging end-of-season run. The role of the fans is clearly seen as integral to the club’s survival, with Mazzitelli placing high value on the connection between players and supporters.
