Maldini reportedly says a top Italian club is targeting Monza’s playmaker.

Speculation continues to mount around Daniel Maldini, the forward currently playing for Monza on loan from AC Milan.

Reports suggest that several top clubs are eyeing the young talent, with Inter Milan leading the chase.

Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Inter, is reportedly keen to secure Maldini’s signature.

According to an analysis by *Tuttosport*, Inter’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio, is closely monitoring Maldini’s progress.

“Ausilio is evaluating Maldini’s development by watching him live,” *Tuttosport* reports.

The connection with Monza is excellent, and who knows, if Juventus doesn’t intervene, Maldini could be the attacker that Inter envisioned when they considered Gudmundsson last summer.
