Lazio striker, Ciro Immobile, has been subjected to medical examinations following his injury yesterday.
A statement released by medical staff at S.S. Lazio confirmed, Ciro Immobile has undergone clinical and instrumental examinations at the Paideia International Hospital today.
The tests revealed he suffered a distractive trauma of the semitendinosus muscle in his right thigh during the game against Empoli.
“The player has already begun specific treatments and will be subjected to daily clinical monitoring. Further instrumental examinations will be repeated in the coming days to quantify recovery time,” the medical staff at S.S Lazio told in their statement.
The upcoming tests are expected to provide a more clear guideline on the duration of Immobile’s recovery period.
