Inzaghi reflects on satisfactory 2023 with Inter, comments on Genoa

Inter Milan’s head coach, Simone Inzaghi, has addressed the upcoming match against Genoa in an interview with Inter Tv.

Looking back on 2023, Inzaghi expressed satisfaction with Inter’s achievements. “It’s been a fulfilling 2023, we’ve won some trophies and played a very stimulating Champions League final. It’s good not to forget what we’ve achieved, but we have a lot of ambition and look at the new year with a lot of enthusiasm: we want to go a long way with our fans,” Inzaghi stated in the interview on Inter Tv.

In regards to the forthcoming game with Genoa, the Inter Milan coach suggested it won’t be an easy contest. He was quoted as saying on Inter Tv, “It will be a fought match: Genoa is in a great moment, it has quality players and a very prepared coach who is doing well. We will have to play a careful and high intensity game.”

Inter Milan supporters will undoubtedly be eager to see if Inzaghi’s team can kick off 2024 on a positive note, following their successful 2023 campaign.
