Inter’s Lautaro on track for return against Verona

Inter Milan might see the return of its captain Lautaro Martinez for their first match of 2024, following his absence in the recent fixtures.

Yesterday, Lautaro and Dimarco took part in separate training sessions at Pinetina. The Argentinean is doing everything he can to ensure he’s match-fit for Verona on the Epiphany.

Inter, without Martinez, suffered a slump, managing only a draw against Genoa. The absence was particularly felt by fellow teammate Marcus Thuram. The Frenchman, despite giving it his all, seemed fatigued and fired three unsuccessful attempts at the Marassi.
