One of the hottest names in the Inter Milan transfer rumours recently is Daniel Maldini.
Speculation intensified following the sighting of Inter’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio, at the U-Power Stadium during the Monza vs. Roma match.
Maldini is currently at Monza, who acquired him on a permanent transfer this past summer from AC Milan. Milan retained 50% of any future resale value.
The *Gazzetta dello Sport* confirms that Inter is closely monitoring Maldini, and so is Juventus.
In context of the transfer market for Inter, the newspaper reports, “In case of a future resale, AC Milan would receive 50% of the amount from whatever price Monza might sell him for.”
“It is interesting to note that no specific clauses have been inserted for interested clubs.”
“There is significant interest in Maldini due to his playing style, his approach to football, and his inventive capabilities,” noted the Italian national team coach Luciano Spalletti.
“Top Italian clubs are particularly interested, and it would indeed be noteworthy if a Maldini ended up in the black-and-white of Turin or the black-and-blue of Milan,” he added.
“But the market is global in every sense, even emotionally,” he concluded.
The situation is developing, and it remains to be seen where this promising player’s future lies.
