Fiorentina’s renovation plan for Stadio Franchi revealed

In a bid to facilitate their stay at Artemio Franchi while construction work is ongoing, Fiorentina are said to be seeking a temporary solution. This follows reported refusals from Lucca and Empoli, according to Italian newspaper La Nazione.

The solution appears to come from Palazzo Vecchio, where a budget of ten million Euros has been allocated for the refitting of the “Padovani”, the rugby stadium located in the Campo di Marte neighbourhood. The aim is to allow Fiorentina to continue playing their games in close proximity to Florence.
