Empoli’s D’Aversa reportedly asserts player was not called up for a specific reason.

Empoli’s manager, Roberto D’Aversa, addressed the media at the Antonio Bassi Press Room in the Carlo Castellani Computer Gross Arena on the eve of their match against Venezia.

During the press conference, D’Aversa touched upon several topics, notably the ongoing transfer market involving Empoli.

Of particular interest was the situation surrounding Jacopo Fazzini, which has been a subject of intense speculation.

“Fazzini is a player of great potential, and it’s only natural that clubs would show interest in him,” D’Aversa stated, emphasizing the value Fazzini brings to the team.

Reports have circulated linking Fazzini with a move away from Empoli, yet the manager remained firm on the importance of the player to his squad.

“We are committed to keeping our talented players, and Fazzini is no exception,” added D’Aversa, putting to rest some of the swirling rumours.

His comments make it clear that Empoli is not looking to part ways with one of their key assets, despite the attention Fazzini is attracting from other clubs.

The forthcoming match against Venezia, however, remains the immediate focus for D’Aversa and his team, as they aim to secure a crucial victory.
