Italian football club Empoli is reportedly eyeing the future, securing Georgian player Saba Goglichidze from Torpedo Kutaisi to bolster their defence. The promising 17-year-old, who can play both as a central and full-back, is spoken highly of in his home country. Empoli has successfully snatched him up amidst competition from other Serie A clubs.
In relation to the midfield, Empoli is making moves for the return of Polish player Zurkowski, currently playing for Spezia in Serie B. Zurkowski appears keen on returning to wear the Empoli jersey, however, finding the optimal agreement between the two clubs remains to be solved. La Nazione reports that Empoli is pushing for a loan with an obligation to buy should they secure their status in the league.
