Carlo Alberto Belloni, the agent of Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio, has spoken to SportItalia about his client’s recent injury during a game against Milan and the interest from major clubs in the transfer market.
Following his collision with an opposing player in the match against Milan, Mr Belloni stated, “He is now in good health. Luckily, it was only a severe knock that required him to have six stitches just above his eyebrow. But he’s fine. He will certainly feature in our Saturday match against Salernitana.”
Speaking about the goalkeeper’s progress and growth as a player, Mr Belloni noted, “Thanks to his great ambition, hunger, and the fact that he has never felt satisfied. He works hard every day, and that work is paying off. Year after year, he manages to raise the bar, constantly seeking to improve his performance.”
In terms of the coaching Di Gregorio has received, Mr Belloni was full of praise for Coach Palladino’s contribution. “Palladino is an excellent coach. His football philosophy has greatly assisted Michele in his development.”
Perhaps most exciting for fans and Di Gregorio himself, his agent also confirmed that the goalkeeper is ready for a move to a top-tier club. “He’s ready for a big club,” Belloni revealed, “where he’ll go, we’ll find out in the coming months.”
