Empoli manager Roberto D’Aversa addressed the media, sharing insights on the club’s transfer market strategy as well as discussing their ongoing battle for survival in the league.
During a press conference, D’Aversa, the head coach of the Azzurri, touched upon Empoli’s plans in the current transfer window alongside their campaign in Serie A.
“We’re up against a strong team, riding high on the enthusiasm from a historic win in the Champions League,” D’Aversa remarked, highlighting the challenges that lie ahead.
The Empoli boss emphasised the importance of strategic signings to bolster the squad in their fight to rise above the relegation zone.
“According to recent club reports,” he further explained, “it’s imperative we bring in players who can immediately strengthen our lineup and complement our current squad.”
He noted that the club’s management is actively exploring various options to ensure the right talent is brought into the fold, given the competitive nature of the team’s fixtures.
Empoli’s objective is to not just survive in Serie A but to do so with a long-term vision in mind.
