Daniel Maldini: Monza is the best choice for me

Daniel Maldini has officially joined Monza on loan from AC Milan, the young midfielder confirmed today.

Maldini made this statement after putting pen to paper on the sensational deal. He told Italian sports publication TMW that the loan was a quick decision but the best choice for him.

He stated, “Everything happened very quickly, we talked and we decided that this was the best choice for me. So it was.”

Maldini also spoke about the importance of Inter, another of Italy’s top-flight clubs, but referred to it as just “an important match like all others,” yet one that would be “special.”

When asked if he intended to rejuvenate his career whilst at Monza, Maldini stated this aim was crucial to him and would use the opportunity to contribute to the team as much as possible.
