As we approach January, Monza FC is gearing up for the winter transfer market. According to reports from Sky, Greek winger Panos Katseris, born in 2001 and currently playing for Catanzaro, is on their radar.
The player’s market value is around 1.7 million Euros, and while Catanzaro is willing to let him go in January, there is a desire to keep him on loan until the end of the season.
It is worth noting that Katseris has attracted attention from several other clubs besides Monza. Teams like Bologna, Genoa, Torino, Udinese and Parma have also registered their interest in the player.
It is yet to be seen whether Monza can secure a deal amidst such tough competition for the rising Greek star’s signature.
However, a loan deal would potentially be the most feasible option considering the interest from the management of Catanzaro to retain the player till the end of the season, which could serve the player’s development and the interests of both clubs.
