Cagliari midfielder Antoine Makoumbou saw a disappointing end to Verona Cagliari’s second half after receiving a red card at minute 51. He was tasked with leaving the match because of a second booking, following his first at the twelfth minute of the game.
This development is set to impact the team roster severely as he will miss their upcoming Empoli match. Cagliari, under the direction of Coach Claudio Ranieri, will face Empoli for the 18th round of the league on December 30 at Unipol Domus.
Sadly, Makoumbou’s send-off does not augur well for Cagliari’s next match prospects. Makoumbou’s absence might influence the dynamics of the team which is already under pressure to perform.
