The future of Mario Balotelli remains uncertain. The forward has expressed a desire to return to Serie A in recent weeks and has confirmed that he has received several offers.
Genoa has engaged in talks with the former AC Milan player’s representatives. However, no deal has been finalised at this stage.
Additionally, Torino, led by Vanoli, was speculated to be interested. Yet, Vanoli clarified that the injured Zapata would not be replaced, leaving Genoa, managed by Gilardino, as the primary contender.
Vanoli stated, “I will remain as we are until the transfer window. We must all take responsibility and find a new setup. I am always optimistic. We know what we have lost but also what we can give,” as reported in a recent interview.
