FIFA agent Luca Nigriello has unexpectedly revealed that promising Argentinian talent Valentin Carboni had been offered to AC Milan in the past. The young player, born in 2005, is currently on Inter Milan’s books but is making waves this season whilst on loan at Monza under the stewardship of Raffaele Palladino. Nigriello made these comments in an interview with TV Play.
In his words, Nigriello said, “Before bringing Valentin to Catania, where I took advantage of the fact that his father had played there, I had also presented him to Napoli.”
He continued saying, “However, Napoli turned down the idea of bringing the whole family to Italy because it is not easy to move them from Argentina.”
He then added that AC Milan was also approached before stating that “ultimately, it was Inter who stepped on the gas, securing the player to their ranks.”
