According to reports from *La Nazione*, Milan’s transfer market activities are focusing on a promising defensive acquisition to bolster the squad of Rossoneri manager Paulo Fonseca.
A potential target is Simone Canestrelli, a young defender currently with Pisa. Canestrelli has long attracted interest from Bologna and more recently from Milan.
He was initially acquired from Empoli for 2.6 million euros.
As it stands, significant financial offers and concrete proposals are necessary to tempt Pisa into a sale, but none have emerged yet.
It remains to be seen whether the Rossoneri will make a decisive move in the near future to secure the defender’s signature.
