The latest development on the future of Mateo Retegui, Genoa’s forward, places him in the sights of Atalanta.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sport, Atalanta is now very close to signing Mateo Retegui.
The Bergamo-based side has been in need of a new forward following the injury to Scamacca.
Di Marzio reported: “Atalanta is on the verge of sealing the transfer of Mateo Retegui.”
Atalanta is expected to financially compensate Genoa as part of the deal.
