Following the departure of Michele Di Gregorio to Juventus, Monza are still on the hunt for a new goalkeeper.
Adriano Galliani, CEO of Monza, has now set his sights on Pierluigi Gollini, who has returned to Atalanta after a loan spell at Napoli.
“We believe Gollini could be a valuable addition to our squad,” Galliani said, speaking to local media.
Sources close to the club confirm that discussions are underway, although no deal has been finalised yet.
Gollini’s return to Atalanta has reportedly not cemented his place in the squad, making a move to Monza a plausible option.
The situation remains fluid, and Monza are exploring all possibilities to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
“We are considering several candidates, but Gollini is certainly at the top of our list,” a club insider revealed.
With the transfer window still open, Monza fans are eagerly awaiting further developments in this ongoing saga.
