Empoli head coach, Aurelio Andreazzoli, looked ahead to their upcoming match against Hellas Verona in a recent press conference.
Andreazzoli addressed the condition of Fazzini and Bereszynski, stating, “They’re both doing well, they’ve both recovered. They’re ready.” This update, revealed during the press conference, confirms both players’ availability for the clash.
The Empoli coach also addressed the situation involving Zurkowski. He explained that any one of the squad can be in the starting lineup, and that there is no cause for concern regarding Zurkowski. Andreazzoli said that Zurkowski “knows us and we know him. He showed great enthusiasm in returning home, Zurko is fine. He has returned to the family, his is a sweet and not traumatic introduction.”
Regarding Baldanzi, Andreazzoli inferred that it would have been unlikely for him to be at 100% for the last game against Milan. He commented on the importance of long-term evaluations, explaining that “Tommaso needs time to return to the player we know, it’s normal. He has put a lot of effort into what he has done and this always pleases us.” It appears, according to the coach, that Baldanzi has been working hard to get back to form, a sentiment shared in the press conference.
