Filippo Terracciano is officially a new signing for AC Milan, according to the club’s announcement on their website.
The statement released by the club confirmed the signing of Terracciano from Hellas Verona FC. The Italian defender penned a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2028.
Born on February 8, 2003, in Verona, Terracciano was brought up through the youth ranks at Hellas Verona. This was the same club where he made his first team debut on December 15, 2021, in the Coppa Italia match Hellas Verona-Empoli. His first appearance in Serie A came not long afterwards, on March 20, 2022, in a 1-1 draw against Empoli. He has since made 39 league appearances, 18 of those in the current season.
Terracciano’s talent has also been recognised on the national stage. On November 19, 2022, after progressing through the Italian youth squad, he made his debut for Italy’s Under-21 national team in a friendly match against Germany.
According to the club’s announcement, Terracciano will wear the number 38 shirt for Milan.
