In football transfer news, Genoa’s standout defender, Radu Dragusin, is a name attracting growing interest in the ongoing January transfer window. In addition to big-name clubs such as Tottenham, AC Milan and Napoli, another heavyweight has thrown their hat in the ring.
Sky Sport Deutschland has corroborated the rumours emanating from Romanian press in recent hours. Bayern Munich has now joined the chase for Dragusin, underlining the defender’s increasing appeal in the football market.
Thomas Tuchel, the head coach of the German side, has reportedly discussed the potential transfer with his officials. So taken was Tuchel with Dragusin’s performances that he managed to persuade his board into launching a move for the Romanian player this January.
The price tag that Genoa has set on Dragusin is thought to be around 30 million Euros. Unsurprisingly, this hasn’t deterred the likes of Tottenham, AC Milan, Napoli and now Bayern Munich from indicating their desire to secure the services of the Romanian revelation.
Despite the high stakes involved, these clubs are seen as front-runners in the race to capture the Genoa starlet.
