Empoli F.C. is set to bolster their squad with key reinforcements to help in their battle for survival, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.
The Tuscany-based club, under the headship of coach Aurelio Andreazzoli, are putting final touches on three new signings. Tuttosport reported club’s sporting director Pietro Accardi is handling the remaining bureaucratic procedures.
Empoli’s ex-loanee, Filip Zurkowski, presently at Spezia Calcio, is set to make a comeback. Furthermore, the club will add in a new striker, Alberto Cerri, to strengthen their attacking options. Empoli has also shown interest in Napoli’s Roberto Gaetano.
