Marseille crisis: Gattuso says he’s worried, seeks solutions

Marseille manager Gennaro Gattuso has spoken to the press following his team’s defeat against Lens in Ligue 1.

“There is no right or wrong defeat,” Gattuso said. “We used a lot of energy, the match was very physical. We struggled both technically and physically.”

Gattuso added that had he been asked for the exact result of the match, he would have said it was a draw. He continued, “I don’t like talking about defeat because the word ‘defeat’ is a term for the weak. We have to do much better to win points, showing great commitment from a technical point of view and winning more duels.”

“Yes, I am a bit worried,” Gattuso admitted. “We have to work every day to find solutions, even at a mental level.”
