Empoli, Andreazzoli: Issues for Caputo, Eyes on Baldanzi

Empoli’s coach, Aurelio Andreazzoli, discussed the upcoming Serie A match against Torino in a press conference.

Addressing the strategies for the game, Andreazzoli mentioned, “Torino plays differently from the rest, posing the question of how to counteract them. I agree that they are a quality team, well guided and a group that knows each other well. We should be able to counteract differently, especially in the phase of non-possession. If we can do what we would like to do, I think Torino should be worried. If we are superficial, we will pay dearly”.

He also touched upon the fitness level of the team. Andreazzoli reported that Kovalenko wouldn’t be available for the match. Even though he trained, Andreazzoli decided not to call him up as he doesn’t want to take any risks. The status of Caputo is also uncertain. “Caputo is not available, it seems that his situation is minor but further checks are needed. On the other hand, Baldanzi trained well as expected. So, it’s a pleasure to have him back,” said Andreazzoli.
