Zirkzee’s future at Manchester United appears uncertain as two Italian giants express interest in bringing him back to Serie A.

An extraordinary situation is unfolding around the figure of Joshua Zirkzee. The player was closely linked with a move to Inter Milan during the past summer transfer window, before eventually choosing to head to England and join Manchester United.

However, after an unremarkable start in the Premier League, the former Bologna forward might return to Serie A as early as January on loan.

According to the Turin sports daily, Tuttosport, the Dutch striker hasn’t found favour with the new manager Amorim at Manchester United.

“There is active interest from Juventus in Zirkzee,” Tuttosport reports, noting that the Turin club, considered potential rivals to Inter in the scudetto race, are in search of a backup for Vlahovic following Milik’s injury.

The newspaper warns that Juventus have also added Kalimuendo, Kolo Muani, and Lucca to their shopping list, indicating a broader scope in their search for reinforcements.
