Zeman resigns from Pescara following recent ischemia

Pescara’s head coach Zdenek Zeman has been discharged from the ‘Pierangeli’ clinic after suffering a minor stroke in recent days.

As reported by Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zeman’s return to the touchline for the Abruzzese club may not happen until spring. It is, however, expected that the Czech-born coach will be present in the stands during matches, keenly watching over his team.
