Inter Milan have successfully sealed the deal for Nicola Zalewski in a transfer from AS Roma, sources close to the negotiation reveal.
The Polish winger is set to undergo his medical examinations, which have already been scheduled, in the coming days.
This move comes as Zalewski, born in 2002, prepares to fill the gap left by Buchanan, who is currently on loan at Villarreal.
An insider from Inter Milan, preferring to remain anonymous, was quoted saying, “We’re thrilled to have secured Zalewski’s talents for the team and look forward to his contributions on the field.”
Meanwhile, a Roma spokesperson expressed gratitude for Zalewski’s time at the club but acknowledged, “Transfers are part and parcel of the sport. We wish Nicola all the best in his future endeavours.”
Zalewski’s transition to the black and blue side of Milan marks a significant development in this transfer window’s activities.
