“In Florence, we operate differently compared to other fans,” Viviano explained on *TV Play*. “Someone like Balotelli would be cherished here.”
“We insulted and criticised the Della Valle family, yet we adored Cecchi Gori to madness,” he added, highlighting the unique nature of the Florence fanbase. “I think that says enough.”
“We love genius and recklessness,” he continued. “Mutu was an idol, and Edmundo would have been lynched in any other place for what he did at Fiorentina.”
Viviano admitted that Balotelli has sometimes acted out, stating, “Balotelli has had over-the-top behaviours and made mistakes, but nothing that would divide a group.”
“He’s not harmful, and everyone loves him,” Viviano concluded, portraying Balotelli as a potentially perfect fit for Fiorentina.
