Following the transfer of Isak Hien, Verona FC is back in the transfer market, seeking a replacement to strengthen the team’s defensive line, as they find themselves entangled in the battle for survival.
Italian sports newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport, has reported that the first name on Verona’s list is defender Bonifazi from Bologna FC. Nonetheless, Verona may face stiff competition in their bid to secure Bonifazis’s services. Salernitana, Frosinone, Fiorentina, and Sassuolo are also reportedly interested in the Bologna defender.
In light of this strong competition, the prospects for Marco Di Cesare, a promising young defender from Argentinos Juniors, appear to be increasing. Born in 2002, the Italian-Argentinian talent is seen as a potential candidate to fill the void left by Hien at Verona.
