Van Basten: I hope Milan can win the championship

Ex-Milan player, Marco Van Basten, has expressed his thoughts about the current performance of Pioli’s Milan team.

Speaking to the club’s official media, Van Basten expressed affection and gratitude for the support he continually receives from the team’s fans. He acknowledged that his relationship with Milan remains special to him.

In his own words, Van Basten said, “It’s always lovely to return to Milan and to do so in my Milan home.” Van Basten went on to praise the growing success of Reijnders, whom he described as a “good midfielder from the Netherlands” who is progressing well in Italy.

Speaking on the club’s prospects, he said, “I hope that Milan can do well, win the championship and outperform Inter”. He reiterated his strong emotional ties to Milan and expressed his aspiration for the team’s future success.
